Have you always wanted to try an elaborate Pooja Dhingra dessert recipe but have not been able to till now? These deliciously easy-to-make cookies will be a great snack for your stay-at-home NYE plans!

Ingredients 

1⁄4 cup ghee 

1⁄4 cup powdered sugar 

1⁄4 cup all-purpose flour 

1 tbsp cocoa powder 

1⁄2 tsp cardamom powder 

Almond flakes to decorate

Preparation 

  • In a bowl, whisk the ghee, sugar and cardamom powder till light and creamy. 

  • In another bowl, sift the flour and cocoa powder. 

  • Add the flour mixture to the ghee mixture and use your hands to make a dough. 

  • Portion the dough into small balls, flatten them and place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper/foil. 

  • Sprinkle the almond flakes on top of the cookies. 

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 165 °C for 15–18 minutes.
