Had questions about the Juggernaut writing platform? Here’s what you need to know:

What does the Juggernaut writing platform exactly do?

The Juggernaut writing platform is intended for writers who wish to publish and share their work digitally without the traditional restrictions of a publishing house. Writers who upload and publish their work on the platform will find their works displayed alongside published Juggernaut authors, and their works will be available to read for free for India’s largest growing digital reading community. Writers can also choose their own covers for their works.

I have a 100,000 word novel. Can I upload it on the platform?

Yes, of course! You can upload any form of writing you may have. Short stories, poems, novels, nonfiction essays — the writing platform is a space for writers to be as creative as they want.

What do you mean when you say your software will ‘review’ my work? I thought the platform meant to democratize publishing.

Our algorithm reviews the work for spam (we don’t want sales pitches to be viewed as books!) automatically before it publishes your work. Our editors may — and this will be a rare occurrence — decide to review your work if it does not comply with our terms and conditions.

Will you charge for my book?

No. All books published via the writing platform will be available for free on Juggernaut.

How do I win a publishing contract from Juggernaut?

We’ll automatically send you an agreement once your work gets a certain number of views and positive reviews.

You say you can remove my book without any warning. Isn’t that unfair?

Your book will not be removed if you comply with the writing platform’s terms and conditions. Even then, our editors will be in touch with you with specific concerns, if any, before removing the book, and once you address those concerns, your book will not be removed.

Do I need to submit only in English?

At the moment, yes. We are working towards supporting other languages too.

Why can’t I publish my story elsewhere if I’ve already published it on Juggernaut?

As India’s fastest growing reading community, we would like to keep your work exclusively available on Juggernaut. We offer you a wide readership on our platform. As we grow digitally, your reader base grows with us, and your work gets more traction. We also offer you direct feedback from our readers in the form of reviews. We facilitate exclusive promotions for all books, including yours, on our social media networks, and also organize writing workshops with celebrity authors so you can hone your craft and engage with your favourite authors.

Why do I have to offer my work to Juggernaut even if another publisher makes me an offer?

The community writing platform offers authors wide exposure. We work to push your work, and have it read by a wide audience. If another publisher makes you an offer based on your existing work, we would like to be given the chance to make an offer for the work.

If my work is optioned for a film or television show, why does Juggernaut take a commission from that deal?

We will be asking television, film and multimedia companies to go through the platform and make offers for work they are interested in. This offer, and the subsequent deal, will be negotiated by Juggernaut on your behalf, and represent your interests. Of course, you will be fully in the know if such a negotiation begins.

Where can readers find my book?

All community books are available to be read on our website,, at the moment. We are working on integrating the community platform within the app. However, you will only be able to write or upload your stories on the website and not on the app.

So what are you waiting for? Go ahead and write that first sentence on  and start your book!

Can I offer the book (ebook) I submit to Juggernaut, to others through my website or through email (free of cost) for promoting my other books?

Secondly, what if I decide to publish the book as a print version, is that allowed?

Does Juggernaut help in creating cover page?

Can a book published on Juggernaut be downloaded by readers.? Readers should not be able to make copies and pass it to their friends.

    • Team Juggernaut / January 22, 2018 at 12:27 pm /Reply

You can download books and read on the Juggernaut app offline.

HI, I have submitted my story already. It says I will get a mail when it is published. May I know, approximately, how long it will take for the processing and publishing of my book? :)

I submitted my entry and it’s appearing published but –

    1. I cannot seem to search for it on the app or website. I can only access my entry through my account.

    2. When I share the link with friends, they tell me they cannot access the entry unless they download the app.

    3. I did not receive any email regarding my entry having been published.

    4. What is the difference between publishing my entry myself instantly on the website and sending my work to an editor?

Is there another way around these issues?

    Many thanks! :-)

Please remove my book “The Best Meditation Technique For You” from your platform. I tried to do it myself, but could not locate an ‘unpublish’ button there. But I have removed most of the chapters. Remove the book completely with immediate effect.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

Please not that i had uploaded a story yesterday at your writing platform. I received you mail stating that the book will be online in 10-12 hours. But it seems that i am not able to search the book and i am not sure if the book is available on your app. I am wondering if i have missed something here. Kindly advise if i have to do something more.

Below is the link of the book.

    Hello Team Juggernaut

Hope you are safe and well

I’ve published my book a couple of hours ago.

A couple of my friends have already finished reading the book.

However, the stats page shows 0 readers.

How much time does the stats page take to reflect the readers?

    Can you please guide me?

    Thanks and regards

I see that the books on your website aren’t available for free. Do you pay a share to writers if a certain number of copies are sold?
