How was your experience with the Juggernaut writing platform? Do you have any suggestions for us to improve it?

Juggernaut is a revelation! Today what budding authors need is a platform to showcase their skills and Juggernaut provides- no gimmicks no hidden clauses. It is really helpful to write on the platform and one feels motivated to complete the project and do justice to it. No suggestions as of now.

What is your writing process like?

My writing process is pretty haphazard. I am under attack periodically with bouts of inspiration followed by bad days where i hardly pen more than a couple of words. But as soon as some interesting thoughts present itself i get down to business.

If you had to pick three books that inspired you as a person and/or writer, which ones would they be?

That would have to be Kane and Abel, Ice Station Zebra and Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

How important is it to you for a good story to be good writing as well? Do you think the two are mutually exclusive?

A good story can only be told through good writing. Clarity of thought is only justified if weaved together with the right words.

What is your favourite genre of literature? What do you like about it?

I am partial towards mystery  fiction. The ability to awe and keep one on their toes till the end tying up all ends  is only possible to extremely gifted authors.

How do you see literature as a force for change?

Words have the power to move mountains. Writers across the ages have inspired revolutions with their pens. The rise of social media and the debates and discussions today are a case in point.

How important do you think it is for people to read? What are the benefits of reading, in your opinion?

The only true  friend you will ever need in your life is a good book. Some wise man once said. Reading is absolutely important. Only when people focus on the written word would man evolve in all sense of the term.

What inspired you to write?

Everyone starts writing when they feel they have a story they would like the world to hear. I am no different. When i realised i do have the ability of telling good stories, decent stories, stories that needed to be put out there to inspire people, get them to think, tell them you aren’t alone in this world to experience what you are experiencing, i started writing and sharing my writings.

If writing were a super power that allowed you to influence people with your words alone, would you want it?

Absolutely. Who doesn’t want to be a super-hero? I believe people like Stan Lee have given alternate realities to generations of fans purely with their writings. I would love to do the same one day!

You can read his book First Love here.
