Tell us about your book.
With Love is basically a murder mystery book. The story revolves around a happily married couple Ishanth and Idara who are madly in love. While Idara is worried about their future, Ishanth plans something extraordinary to satisfy his wife. Though they succeed, Ishanth unexpectedly dies. The story revolves around the murder.

Please tell us something about your early years and major influences on you. What inspires you still?
Manoj: The main inspiration for me was from English movies especially Horror, Mystery, and Thriller genres. During my college days, we watched a lot of films from these genres. When I started out, I used to write a lot of articles and publish them online. That inspired me a lot and gave a confidence, but, I realized I can write stories only in 2017.

When did you know that you wanted to be a writer?
Manoj: It was only in 2017. A friend of mine wanted to make a short film, and asked me to assist him to write the story, that’s where it started. My first book The Fallacious Wish, a murder mystery, had decent reviews among readers.

Bindiya: I am a creative person with good written and spoken English skills. When Manoj gave an outline of the story and asked me if I could assist him, I was pretty excited. I took about two days’ time and came up with a complete flow of the story right from start till the end. With minor modifications here and there, we successfully completed the book.

What made you write this particular story?
Bindiya: Manoj had a basic plot of this story a couple of months back. After publishing his first book, he was sitting and thinking of starting his second book. He spent the entire day thinking of a gripping plot but nothing came to him. One fine morning, the story came in the form of a day dream! He immediately got up and typed the same to make sure he doesn’t forget. After 2-3 months, he revisited the story, and approached me seeking her support to develop it as a book. After lot of discussions and references, we finally got this book ready.

Did you face any challenge while writing this piece?
We would not call it a challenge, but we referred to lot of papers to understand how writers describe investigations to their readers.

Can you suggest some books for our readers that you think are must reads?
Digital Fortress by Dan Brown, Da Vinco Code by Dan Brown, and all the books written by Rajesh Kumar, Subha (Tamil authors).

What kinds of books inspire you?
Both of us are interested in reading Thriller and Mystery novels in English and Tamil.
