The Handmaid’s Tale
Based on the best-selling novel by Margaret Atwood, the story is set in a totalitarian society in what used to be part of the United States. The show and the book tell the tale of a women called Offred who is determined to survive the terrifying world she lives in.
Band of Brothers
The 2001 American war drama is based on historian Stephen E. Ambrose’s 1992 non-fiction book of the same name. In 2001, the series won Emmy and Golden Globe awards for best miniseries.
Sherlock is based on the Sherlock Holmes series British author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The fictional private, as portrayed by Benedict Cumberbatch, has had us hooked since 2010.
13 Reasons Why
The massively popular Netflix original show is based on a young-adult novel book by the same name by Jay Asher. The plot revolves around a teenager, Hannah, played by Katherine Langford, who takes her own life.
